The Washington University School of Medicine strives for advances in medicine in the U.S. and around the world.  That international effort is marked with Global Health Scholars Week which will take place September 23-27 2013

Keynote speaker will be our visiting professor for the week, Dr. Alfredo Palacio, who completed his cardiology fellowship at WU/BJH…. and is the former president and health minister of Ecuador. [ Very interesting interview with Dr. Palacio during International Berlin Economics Congress ]
