Mar. 13 – Gedymin Grubba Concert

This a rare opportunity to experience performance of a world class organist in one of the best venues for organ music in St. Louis.

On March 13, 2015 at 7:30 PM in Christ Church Cathedral, Gedymin Grubba will present The Great Bach Project. His concert ia part of The Shepley Concert Series.

It will include the following compositions by  Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)

Toccata, Adagio and Fugue in C Major /BWV 564/

trio: Allein Gott in der Höh’ sei Ehr’ /BWV 664/

Concerto in G Major (Allegro-Grave-Presto) /BWV 592/

Kommst du nun, Jesu, vom Himmel herunter /BWV 650/

Toccata F Major /BWV 540/

Gedymin Grubba is a renowned organist, improvisator, composer, arranger, conductor who performs all over the world. In his repertoire you can find a wide range of music literature, starting with tabulatur music to today music. His composition output includes solo works as well as huge symphonic forms.
